It is inevitable that any equipment will fail after long-term use, and roots blowers are no exception.

1. High current

If the sound, temperature and vibration of the mechanical part of the roots blower are normal, but it is a little dull and the current is high, it is generally the reason why the inlet and outlet air is unfavorable, the inlet filter, the shell ash collection, and the outlet pipe valve are not fully opened and blocked.

2. The bearing is heated

The heating of the roots blower bearing in operation is mostly caused by bearing damage or poor lubrication and excessive belt tension.

3. The gearbox sound is abnormal

Abnormal gearbox sound is related to tooth surface wear, poor lubrication, and if there is an uneven impact, it is a sign of key or dowel pin failure, or it may be bearing damage or broken teeth.

4. There is an abnormal sound in the cavity

If there is friction sound in the cavity, it may be a problem with the positioning of the bearing; If it is impacted, the bearing is generally damaged, the center distance of the impeller has changed, and the side of the impeller is not parallel to the wall. There is also a situation where a foreign object may be stuck to the impeller, but it is not very likely.

5. The transmission belt is abnormal

If the transmission belt is worn and slag is removed, it may be that the belt is in contact with the bottom of the groove, the two belts are not parallel or the corresponding groove is not in a plane, and the wheel is rough.

6. The fan has a large current and overpressure operation

The fan current is large and overpressurized, which mostly belongs to the poor system pipeline; Here I would like to remind you that the safety valve must be calibrated, overpressure is deflated, and it is strictly forbidden for the fan to operate under overpressure.
