Common methods of noise control of roots blower: vibration reduction, sound insulation, noise reduction and sound absorption 4 measures.

1.Vibration reduction measures: Vibration is the main source of roots blower noise, and the vibration of the wind turbine will produce low-frequency noise, so reducing machine vibration is the root cause of noise control. For this reason, cast iron should be used as the shell material of the fan to increase the weight of the equipment and the thickness of the shell, and reduce the natural vibration. Flexible bellows damping joints are set at the inlet and outlet of the fan to reduce the radiated noise generated by the vibration of the fan transmitted to the air duct, and the shock absorber can be added under the foundation of the fan unit.

2.Sound insulation measures: sound insulation measures can be taken, sound insulation rooms can be set up, and porous sound-absorbing materials can be lined with porous sound-absorbing materials on the indoor walls and ceilings to eliminate the noise generated by the fan unit.

3.Sound absorption measures: add mufflers at the inlet and outlet ducts of roots fans to control the spread of noise.

4.Sound absorption: Set up sound-absorbing materials to reduce the outward radiation of fan noise.
