The rotating lobe machine basically consists of a stator, with a "slot" shaped section, inside which are housed two shafts with a trilobate section that rotate with uniform speed, in the opposite direction to each other, meshing as if they were two three-toothed gears, but without any contact between them. The gas to be conveyed enters the chamber that is created between the stator and the lobes, which then, with rotation, move it towards the delivery port.
