Roots pump maintenance method

(1) Roots vacuum pump regular inspection:

1. Daily inspection:

1) Oil level check: too much oil will increase the temperature, and too little oil will cause poor lubrication.

2) Temperature check: Check the temperature of each part of the pump with a thermometer.

3) Motor load check: measure the motor load with a power meter or current, voltmeter.

2. Roots vacuum pump monthly inspection:

Whether the coupling and gasket are damaged or loose.

3. Roots vacuum pump is inspected every 3 months:

Whether the lubricating oil in the gearbox has deteriorated.

4. Roots vacuum pump is inspected every 6 months:

1) Whether the lubricating oil in the bearing box of the front cover has deteriorated.

2) Whether the piston ring and piston ring bushing are worn.

3) Whether the slight wear of the gear has an impact on the normal operation of the rotor and whether it needs to be adjusted.

(2) Roots vacuum pump disassembly and assembly:

When disassembling and reassembling the booster pump, the following precautions must be followed:

1. Before disassembling the roots vacuum pump, measure and record the clearance of each part of the rotor.

2. Try to avoid hitting with a heavy hammer, and the removed parts should not be bruised, and keep them properly.

3. Record the reasons for the replacement and the use of the parts that need to be replaced in detail.

4. Before reassembling the roots vacuum pump, all parts must be cleaned and the burrs should be trimmed.

5. "106" silicone rubber coating is used for the static sealing surface without sealing gasket or sealing ring. Use a clean-sealed rubber seal and apply vacuum grease. The sealing ring and flat surface of the vacuum pump with relief valve shall not be coated with grease.

6. Adjust the clearance of each part of the rotor according to the clearance list.

7. Leak detection must be carried out after all are installed.

8. After reinstallation, test operation and necessary performance tests must be carried out, and installation and use can only be carried out after normal.
